Description of the project

WIPO, a United Nations institution based in Geneva, entrusted Projection Nouvelle with a strategic mission: to modernize and unify all of its audiovisual infrastructures in order to meet the growing demands of its multilingual conferences and diplomatic meetings.

The main objective was to standardize user interfaces and enable seamless interconnection between the various conference rooms, while ensuring centralized equipment management. Projection Nouvelle met this challenge by integrating cutting-edge technologies and developing custom solutions.

Solutions Implemented

  • Conference System: Integration of the Televic Plixus system in all rooms, ensuring optimal audio quality and a uniform user interface.
  • Multilingual Distribution: Implementation of the Lingua TX system for smooth simultaneous interpretation in six languages (French, English, Spanish, Chinese, Arabic, and Russian).
  • Centralized Control: Deployment of AMX solutions with customized touch interfaces, enabling intuitive control of audiovisual equipment, Panasonic cameras, projectors, and lighting.
  • Room Interconnection: Audio-video coupling of spaces via secure networks, facilitating the pooling of interpretation systems and accommodating a larger number of delegates.
  • Interface Standardization: Development of custom drivers for seamless integration of existing and new equipment, ensuring intuitive operation for all users.

Result

Thanks to this modernization, WIPO now benefits from a homogeneous, flexible, and scalable audiovisual environment capable of meeting the complex needs of its international events. The standardization of interfaces and interconnection of rooms have significantly improved operational efficiency and the user experience.
