The project in a few words
Last December, Projection Nouvelle was nominated in two categories, “Government of Public Sector Facility” and “InfoComm Standards Award”, for its realization of the Emirates Room at the United Nations Palais des Nations in Geneva.
The former Room XVII, dating back to the 1970s, required architectural, technical, and technological renovation. Projection Nouvelle was chosen to conduct the audiovisual study and integration of this room. With its architecture and equipment becoming outdated, the challenge was to rethink this room entirely, combining cutting-edge technology with a design inspired by the cultural heritage of the United Arab Emirates, the project’s funders.
Results announcement
On February 7, our team went to Amsterdam to attend the final organized by Inavate Magazine and its partners.
Competing with projects from around the world, Projection Nouvelle was ultimately awarded the prize for the most innovative governmental audiovisual installation of 2017. This prestigious award recognizes the technical prowess achieved by our team.
We also have the pleasure and honor of being the first Swiss company to win an Inavation Award in the “Government of Public Sector Facility” category. We thank the Permanent Mission of the United Arab Emirates and the Adeli office for their trust, as well as all the other trades for this wonderful adventure.
