The Rolex Forum, located on the campus of the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), is the auditorium of the Rolex Learning Center, an innovative and futuristic building. The Rolex Forum is designed to host conferences, lectures, or other events for up to 600 people, with a stage of 310m2.
To enhance the performance of the existing audiovisual facilities, EPFL chose the expertise of Projection Nouvelle. The signal transmission system was upgraded to IP transmission, specifically using Dante and SVSI AMX systems. A display screen, a new camera, and three projectors, as opposed to just one previously, were installed. Projection Nouvelle also programmed the home automation of the auditorium’s audiovisual installation, aimed at simplifying its use. All elements can now be controlled via iPad.
